Last weekend Wayne & Adina tied the knot at the Whitley House in Qualicum Beach. This beautiful location provided a wonderful backdrop for their emotional ceremony. Wayne and Adina had written their own vows, and I just think it makes it so much more special to hear a couple use their own words to promise their lifelong commitment to each other.
A couple of days before the wedding there were still a lot of things to take care of, but they pulled it off and everything was ready for their beautiful day! Some people don’t completely understand how time consuming planning a wedding is, but it really is not an easy job. It’s wonderful that there are usually so many family members and bridesmaids and groomsmen willing to help out! But even with their help most couples (especially brides) afterward say how they would have liked to hire a wedding planner.

Last week we shot Wayne & Adina’s engagement photos at Little Qualicum Falls, a beautiful provincial park. Their wedding was planned a few days after their engagement session, which was this past Saturday. We will soon be posting our favourites from their wedding as well.
We soon learned about Adina’s habit of being fashionably late. All the time. Not only at her first day of college, but also at her engagement session, AND her wedding ceremony. Luckily, Wayne has gotten used to this habit, and he was not worried at all about her possibly not showing up at their wedding. He knew their love was real and that Adina would show up when she was ready. But we digress… this post has some of our favourites from their engagement session and our favourites from their wedding will follow within the next few days!
