Last Saturday Jan and I had a portrait session with Korena, Hardy and their 8-month old boy, Samuel. We were a little concerned about the weather and the moment they arrived it started raining! So when it stopped quickly and stayed dry for about 45 minutes we were very happy! Here are some of our favourites.

This past weekend Jan and I have spent some time photographing two wonderful families in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. In this post you’ll see some of our favourite images of the portrait session with Nicole and her two boys, Kino and Kale. We really enjoyed spending time with them and taking their pictures! They were very comfortable in front of the camera and had a lot of great ideas to make some cool shots.
Jan and I were very excited when we spotted a coyote wandering through the park, but apparently this isn’t very uncommon. I guess we still aren’t used to all the wild life here in Canada after our move from Europe last summer. But I’m sure that the next time we see one, we’ll feel excited again
This is a shot Jan took while I just stopped shooting and thought it might be better to get a bit more distance between myself and the coyote while it was walking towards me.
