Last Thursday we shot Brad & Ashley’s engagement portraits in Gastown and Stanley Park, Vancouver. When we left the Island in the morning, we didn’t expect to see complete overcast skies in Vancouver, as it was sunny on the other side. At least it wasn’t raining, so I guess we shouldn’t complain
It was great spending time with them and their engagement session was only 2 days before their wedding… so stay tuned for a sneak peek of their wedding images!
Last Saturday was Scott & Melissa’s big day! The day started with the girls relaxing at the Hennessey Salon & Spa in West Vancouver. What a great way to start your wedding day!
Melissa also had her hair and make-up done at the salon and she looked gorgeous! There were lots of family members involved in making this day extra special; Melissa’s mother made her wonderful dress and the flowergirl dresses and Scott’s mother made a beautiful wedding cake!
Melissa and Scott picked the new Cypress Creek Lodge on Cypress Mountain as their ceremony and reception location (it was the first wedding for the venue) and we can say it’s a great location for larger weddings. The food and staff were both equally amazing!

For Scott & Melissa’s engagement session we went to beautiful Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. The location was awesome (despite the bee-sting…) and Melissa and Scott were a great couple to work with! This couple is only a few weeks away from their wedding in September. Let’s hope the great weather will stay around a bit longer!
