I am so excited to capture this couple’s wedding! Rachel is the daughter of the youth ministry’s leader at our church and she got engaged to her finance Mark just a few short weeks ago. They only have 2.5 months to plan their September 17th wedding, which sounds ambitious, but I am sure it can be done! I am sure it will be a wonderful day with an outdoor ceremony and a vintage-themed reception. I can’t wait

Only 2 more months before Amanda & Hayden will be tying the know at Poet’s Cove Resort on Pender Island. Neither myself or Jan have been to Pender, so I can’t wait to see what it is like. I am sure it will be stunning! This couple has been together for about 9 years, which is a very long time. Amanda must have been so thrilled when he proposed to her in May of 2010 when they were travelling in China!

Earlier this week I met up with Lorieann & Josh in Nanaimo. She’s a heavy-duty mechanic and he’s a welder and they live in Fort McMurray where he was born and raised. The day before the session Lorieann emailed me that when they had been at a music festival where she received a black eye from the crowd. Thankfully, a makeup artist from Maffeo Salon was able to cover it up completely! You couldn’t tell at all! I can’t wait for their wedding in a couple of weeks! I am sure it’ll be a lot of fun.
