Last Thursday we shot Brad & Ashley’s engagement portraits in Gastown and Stanley Park, Vancouver. When we left the Island in the morning, we didn’t expect to see complete overcast skies in Vancouver, as it was sunny on the other side. At least it wasn’t raining, so I guess we shouldn’t complain It was great spending time with them and their engagement session was only 2 days before their wedding… so stay tuned for a sneak peek of their wedding images!

While we were visiting our family in Holland, we had the opportunity to photograph Jan’s sister Angeline and her husband Dennis. Their dog Amber, had to be included in their pictures as well of course!

We had the honour of creating some family portraits for Chantal and Merijn’s family. They just had their fourth baby, so of course the session included some newborn pictures as well. It was great hanging out with them and capturing them having fun as a family.

We’re not allowed to call these photos “engagement images”, but they might very well be! Jan’s good friend Frank wanted him to do a portrait session with his girlfriend Agnes. But who knows if this girlfriend isn’t going to turn into fiancée soon…

Earlier this week we met Kim and Carl and their beautiful daughter. Kim and Carl are getting married next May in Victoria. We met them at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria to first take a few portraits of their little girl (she loved chasing the ducks!) and then we did some more of the two of them at the beach.

We had the honour of photographing this young family a week ago in Deer Lake Park, Burnaby. Simon and Anne’s baby daughter was only six weeks old, and she is the cutest little girl! It was wonderful to spend time with them and create these photos for them.
