We’ve received the gorgeous leather wedding album that Saskia & Jeroen ordered! It looks amazing! We’re so excited; can’t wait till they receive it and let us know what they think!
The album is 12×12 and has 44 pages, which is pretty big! They’ve chose beautiful white leather for the cover. Our album company also offers very cute 4×4 mini albums and we couldn’t resist and order one for ourselves. These mini albums sure make wonderful gifts!
A wedding album is a great way to remember your wedding. A disc with the images doesn’t say much, but an album can really tell the story of your day. We’re very excited that the majority of our clients opts for a package with an album, because we think all couples deserve a beautiful wedding album.

Carl & Kim’s Wedding at UVIC – Victoria Wedding Photographer

Saturday the 8th of May was the day when Carl and Kim said their vows. They have an almost two-year-old girl who was, of course, also part of their celebration. The love these two have for each other was obvious, and we felt honoured to be there to capture this day for them so they’ll always remember how special it was.

I (Rosanne) have to admit that I’m a bit of a crier… well, if you ask Jan he’ll probably leave out the “bit”. It’s hard for me not to cry when I hear a sad story, watch a movie that has a little too much drama, or see someone else cry. So sometimes at weddings I have that problem too and can barely keep it dry… not because it’s sad, but I just love hearing the speeches and the stories of love and friendship. What would life be without love or friendship? The speeches; they might be my favourite part of a wedding!

Kim and Carl, you two are perfect for each other, and you are blessed to have such great friends and family and a beautiful daughter! We hope you’ll have a wonderful time in Jamaica and enjoy this time together!

David & Kelly’s Engagement Portrait Session in Cowichan bay BC – Wedding Photography Victoria

When I received Kelly’s phone call on Monday early afternoon I didn’t expect her to ask if we could do her engagement session that very same day. After all, it was raining. But their schedules are very busy, so they didn’t have a lot of options to do it another time. Our only “issue” was our 2.5 week old baby girl Rosalynn, for whom we couldn’t possibly find a babysitter on such short notice. But Kelly and David were okay with the rain and they didn’t mind that we had to take Rosalynn. So a few hours later we met up with this couple and we had a great time shooting their engagement portraits in Cowichan Bay! Believe it or not, but just before the session it started pouring pretty bad, and then, while we were drinking coffee, the sky cleared up a little and we had an (almost) dry engagement session! (And Rosalynn couldn’t have behaved any better: she slept during the whole session!)

The last couple of photos were taken at the Masthead Restaurant where Kelly and David got engaged. This restaurant has such a gorgeous interior! We loved the opportunity to take a few shots there. And we can’t wait to go back there for dinner someday!
