Yesterday we went to the White Rock beach area for an engagement session with Melodie and Mike. They’ve been engaged since last Christmas and will be getting married in July next year. It was awesome to meet them and we look forward to capturing their wedding memories.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to tag along with my friend Michelle from Michelle Elisabeth Photography to shoot Katie and Luke’s wedding in White Rock. It was a wonderful day and it all started of at Katie’s home in White Rock where she was getting ready. After some getting-ready-shots of the groom they finally saw each other for the first time. Katie looked gorgeous in her stunning dress and blue shoes! We headed off for a fun and relaxed photo session and in the late afternoon the ceremony in the Coast Capital Playhouse. For the reception we went to Elgin Hall which was beautifully decorated by the bride and her helpers. I loved the center pieces, which were wedding cakes!! I have no idea how she did it, but the mother of the bride managed to bake 12 wedding cakes (5 different flavours) and a three-tier wedding cake as well. Not to mention the decorated cookies, one for each guest… That must have been a few long hours in the kitchen! All in all a great day with lots of personal touches that made it extra special!

We shoot weddings in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and the other communities on the North Shore, Richmond, Burnaby, White Rock, New Westminster, Abbotsford, Langley, Surrey, Delta, Aldergrove, Coquitlam, Port Moody and Whistler. We will travel wherever your wedding takes you! This means that we are also available for weddings outside of Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island. We will basically travel all across Canada. Please note that travel fees may apply.
